(Spoiler: WE DID IT!!!!!) WCS Canada Results
I am very overjoyed, proud, and simultaneously humbled to let those of you who were not at Otakuthon 2014's Masqarade Award Ceremony know that Miss Messy Mia and I (as team Detailed Mess) won Canada’s World Cosplay Summit's preliminaries and will be representing Canada in 2015. I also had the wonderful opportunity to judge the regular OtakuthonMasquerade Saturday night (before I found out the WCS results) and all I could think the entire time was HOW AMAZING Cosplay is in Canada, and how it would be the GREATEST honour to get to represent this country’s amazing talent. We will work hard to do you all proud on the world stage.

Otakuthon: the all consuming costume project
Otakuthon grows ever closer and !linami (https://www.deviantart.com/linami) and I are smashing our faces (and everything else) into these costumes to get them ready! Sorry for the lack of updates, but new content/photos, WIP's and a list of all the cons I will be attending will be coming down the pipeline soon! In the meanwhile, checkout my Facebook page, which is about the only thing I can keep updated atm!

ConBravo annoucement~
I’m excited to announce that from July 18th-20th I will be attending ConBravo! in Hamilton, Ontario as a cosplay guest! I will be running panels (which I will detail closer to the date) and I’m bringing Thranduil and re-debuting a costume I only got to shoot with once! Between prepping for the World Cosplay Summit preliminaries and reworking my old costume, I have my hands full!
Although I am posting finished work here, I am not as good about updating due to how busy I am. So if you want to follow me, check out my Facebook, which I do update frequently!
An announcement about WCS!
I am a proud to announce that together, !linami (https://www.deviantart.com/linami) and I will be entering the preliminaries for World Cosplay Summit this year at Otakuthon in Montreal. We are very excited to cosplay as two of our all time favourite characters: Sakura and Fai D. Flowright from Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle! These costumes will be dominating my costume creation time for the next two months because, well - that embroidery!
